HIP facilitates projects conducted in collaboration with our partner organizations. Our goal is to strengthen your project and make it more likely to receive funding, be accepted for publication, and to improve clinical practice. If you are interested in working with HIP, please submit your project for consideration. HIP also maintains a list of websites that provide additional resources.

Funding - HIP does not offer direct funding for projects. We often partner in the process of obtaining funding from a variety of local and national sources, see our Funding Opportunities page.

How to Collaborate with HIP - Our activities range from consultation to full collaboration on a project. Some of the activities are provided free of charge, while others have an associated fee. The level of HIP involvement varies depending on the availability of HIP resources, your needs, and other factors that are discussed during our initial consultations with you.

These activities include:

  • Formulating research questions
  • Facilitating collaborations between researchers with similar interests
  • Identifying appropriate data sources
  • Collaborating on study design
  • Exploring funding opportunities and submitting grant applications
  • IRB/human subjects application process
  • Acquiring, entering, and formatting data
  • Programming and statistical analysis
  • Editing and proofing manuscripts
  • Identifying opportunities for disseminating results
