AQORN Work-In-Progress Seminar
HIP supports an informal lunchtime seminar called "AQORN" (Access, Quality, and Outcomes Research Network) that is open to University of Wisconsin faculty, staff, and students interested in health services research. Each quarter, at least one AQORN seminar is dedicated to cancer-related health services research (C-AQORN). For more information on joining the group, please email contact@hip.wisc.edu.
HIP Grant Writing Group
For investigators working on grant submissions in the area of health services research, comparative effectiveness research, quality improvement research, implementation research, health policy research, or "Type 2" translational research, HIP offers a monthly grant writing group. This group operates as a “mock study section” to provide early feedback on grant development. Investigators submit their grant draft for review and agree to act as a reviewer for two other grants. Grants at all stages of development are welcome (from a single paragraph describing an idea to a full 25-page grant application) and many investigators submit their grant for several months in a row to receive continuing feedback during grant development. For more information on joining the group, please email contact@hip.wisc.edu.
HIP Seminar Series
HIP supports a seminar series of nationally recognized speakers. Upcoming events will be posted in this location. To view past seminar speakers, please visit the HIP Seminar Series Video Library. If you would like to be added to our seminar list, please email contact@hip.wisc.edu
