 Each day we face a healthcare system that delivers unpredictable quality at an increasing cost. We currently have only the most rudimentary tools to improve the value of care that is delivered. We need to develop innovative approaches to drive evidence-based improvement in healthcare. Collaboration among all system participants is critical; we must work and learn together. HIP supports innovation in healthcare practice by providing direct links between University of Wisconsin researchers and our partner healthcare organizations. As a resource for evidence-based improvement, HIP seeks to reduce the barriers to improving healthcare for patients across the state of Wisconsin.
